Who’s running the show?

Little Egypt Comedy Festival is the work of local comedians Brice Evans and David Kirk.

Evans and Kirk started comedy in an area that had no open mic, no regular show, and virtually no opportunities to get stage time. That all changed in November of 2022. The pair started doing shows at Celebrations Event Center in Marion, IL. The room is a kill box. Low ceiling, loud laughs, not a bad seat in the house. With the addition of an open mic, a comedy scene began developing. Celebrations has hosted comedian such as Ryan Niemiller, Sam Tallent, Greg Warren, Fiona Caulley, and many more.

After the success of the Celebrations Shows, the pair began looking into making something big…this is it. Little Egypt is a region known for its ability to grow, and now we take a step further in growing our comedy scene.
